Restaurant with views of Mont‑Saint‑Michel in Courtils
Our restaurant’s delicious and traditional cuisine
At the Manoir de la Roche Torin, the Chef serves traditional Normandy-inspired cuisine which is typical of Courtils and the surrounding region. Featuring a wide range of meat and fish, the menu also has plenty to offer fans of seafood, with oysters, lobster, salmon, cod and more. It won’t be easy to decide!
The menu also includes one of Mont-Saint-Michel’s local specialities: salt marsh-raised lamb. Lambs raised on salt marshes feed on the salty and iodine-rich flora of coastal pastures. As the tides change, these pastures are flooded with seawater, giving rise to unique vegetation which gives the lambs a delicious taste: a subtle blend of iodine, flora and hazelnut. You’re sure to love this delicious and traditional dish!
A unique experience in the dining room or on the terrace
The bright dining room boasts bay windows with views of the grounds, exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings. The restaurant is elegantly and simply decorated with comfortable seats and well-spaced tables: everything has been designed to ensure that your dinner is a uniquely special experience. With its authentically rustic feel, the décor here is typical of the Normandy countryside.
The Manoir also has another dining room where breakfast is served. In the morning, after a restful night’s sleep featuring the gentle sounds of the natural world, treat yourself to a generous buffet. As in the restaurant, enjoy magnificent views of the grounds.
On sunny days, you’ll love sitting out on the terrace with your breakfast: the perfect way to make the most of the sun’s rays and the panoramic views of Mont-Saint-Michel.
A bar you’ll love
The Manoir de la Roche Torin also boasts a cosy bar with a welcoming feel. Enjoy a drink by the roaring fire: the ideal place to warm up in winter and relax after a day exploring the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel.
